Dr. Economos is a versatile physician with an extensive 10-year history in Family Medicine. She is passionate about instilling a holistic approach to the care of her patients. Dr. Economos started her healthcare career in Hawaii on Molokai where she was the Chief Medical Officer at Molokai Community Health Center. She then worked at the Kalihi Palama and Waikiki Health Centers. Dr. Economos treats both adult and pediatric patients, with a special focus on the management of complex medical issues as well as comprehensive surgical dermatological treatments. Additionally, she has expanded her practice as a Hepatitis B & C specialist and is passionate about the management of metabolic disorders (diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia) with a special focus on prevention of stroke and cardiovascular disorders.


Prior to her career in medicine, she was a Wall Street trader and corporate analyst for several fortune 500 mutual fund companies. It was the terrorist attack on Sept 11, 2001 in New York that inspired her to revive her childhood dream of becoming a doctor and motivated her to enroll in medical school.


Dr. Economos graduated with a dual MD degree and Master of Science degree in Hyperbaric Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in 2009. She completed a Prostate Cancer Research Fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle after participating in the General Surgery residency programs at University of Washington and Case Western Reserve University. She is Board certified with the American Board of General Practice, is an associate professor at the American College of General Medicine and affiliate member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
